Road Rage Led to Death of Massachusetts Man, Prosecutors Say

Authorities say 65-year-old David Robbins stabbed 33-year-old Yves Roux Jr. in the arm during a road rage dispute in Wareham

Prosecutors say the stabbing death of a Massachusetts man was prompted by road rage.

Authorities say 65-year-old David Robbins stabbed 33-year-old Yves Roux Jr. in the arm during a road rage dispute in Wareham at about 4:45 a.m. Nov. 6. Both men were driving to work.

Roux got into his car and drove about half a mile before he lost consciousness and crashed. He was taken to a hospital and died two days later.

Prosecutors say most of the confrontation was caught on Roux's dashboard camera.

Robbins pleaded not guilty Tuesday to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. He was held without bail.

Robbins' attorney says Roux was tailgating and provoked the incident. Robbins allegedly drove to work after the incident.
