No students were on board during an early morning school bus crash in Boston's Hyde Park neighborhood on Monday.
A smaller car was involved in a crash with the bus, which occurred in the area of River Street at Metropolitan Avenue around 5:30 a.m. The bus proceeded to crash into a yard on the street.
There were no students on board, according to Boston Public Schools. The bus driver was transported to an area hospital as a precaution.
It is unclear what caused the crash. The scene remains active.
