Williams revealed she was pregnant in April after accidentally making public a post on Snapchat that showed her baby bump. The photo of Williams in a bathing suit was captioned "20 weeks." Her publicist later confirmed the pregnancy after the photo was deleted.
In December, Williams announced her engagement to Ohanian, 34, a co-founder of Reddit. They plan to wed in the fall.
Williams appeared nude for the cover of Vanity Fair in August. In an accompanying interview she said was shocked to discover she was pregnant.
“Oh my God, this can’t be—I’ve got to play a tournament,” she said after seeing her positive pregnancy test.
Williams has said she plans to return to tennis with her baby in the stands "hopefully cheering for me and not crying too much."
