A man is dead after a crash Tuesday morning in Revere, Massachusetts.
Massachusetts State Police responded to the crash on the 600 block of Revere Beach Parkway, which was reported shortly after 9 a.m.
The victim was driving a Chevrolet Cobalt when it went onto the median, knocked down a tree, jumped the curb and guardrail on the other side of the road and going down a short hill, state police said.
The driver, identified Tuesday night as 71-year-old Robert Zylbersztajn of Boston's Charlestown neighborhood, was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital and pronounced dead. He was the only person in the vehicle and it is believed to have had a medical emergency while on the road, according to police.

The road was closed for about an hour and 20 minutes after the crash, police said.
