Service Upgrades to Close Some Orange Line Stations on Weekends

During the work, shuttle buses will be offered to commuters

If you use the MBTA's Orange Line on weekends, plan on disruptions at certain stations until mid-December.

Starting this weekend, shuttle buses will replace Orange Line service on six weekends in October and November at Downtown Crossing, Haymarket and State Street stations as part of the Capital Acceleration Plan, according to the MBTA.

The T plans to also conduct work on some weeknights and weekends through December at Oak Grove, Malden Center and Wellington in order to "keep the tracks in good repair."
