Shots Fired in Methuen, Police Looking for Suspects

Several people were seen running from the scene, and then fleeing in a silver Honda CRV and a dark four-door sedan, police said

Police are looking for possible suspects after shots were fired in Methuen, Massachusetts, early Sunday morning.

Witnesses say they heard several gun shots in the area of 5-9 Independence Drive around 5 a.m. Sunday. 

Officers found spent shell casings at the scene, police said.

There are no known injuries in the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department at 978-983-8698. Police also ask residents in the area of Independence Drive, Constitution Way and Pleasant Valley Street to check their security cameras.
