Sources: Patriots Concerned About 6-8 Game Suspension For Tom Brady

The quarterback's agent remains hopeful that his client won't be disciplined

As the New England Patriots and their fans wait to hear if quarterback Tom Brady will be disciplined for his role in the Deflategate scandal, speculation abounds about what that punishment could entail.

Comcast Sportsnet New England's Mike Giardi says Patriots sources he's spoken with are concerned about a suspension of as long as six to eight games, which would seriously impact the team's chances of defending its Super Bowl title.

A report by the Miami Herald's Armando Salguero said the league is weighing a suspension that could last up to an entire season.

Meanwhile, Brady's agent, Don Yee, said Friday that he remains hopeful that his client won't be disciplined at all.
