Summer Ends With Warm Sunshine

The final days of summer will feel like it, with beautiful sunshine and warm temperatures all across New England.

Temperatures on Saturday will be near 80 with lots of sunshine. If you’re headed to the beach, be extra cautious because the risk of rip currents remains moderate, and many life guards are off the job for the season.

Skies will be mostly clear Saturday night, with lows in the 50s for many.

Sunday is even warmer, with more sun and highs in the middle 80s. That includes the Patriots game.

Monday is also warm, with highs again in the 80s. There will be a few extra clouds as a cold front slowly nears, but most of us will be dry. The best chance of a few showers is far north and west of Boston.

That’s also the first day of fall.

A few spot showers linger early on Tuesday, then we’ll clear out and turn cooler. Highs will be in the 70s.

That more typical fall feel will continue for much of next week.
