Teen Exposed Himself to Young Girls in Southington: Police

Southington police have arrested a teen who is accused of exposing himself to two young daughters on a trail in Southington on Sunday afternoon.

Police arrested Timothy Delaney, 18, of Southington, after a father reported a man exposing himself to his 5-year-old and 8-year-old daughters on the Southington Linear Trail just after 1 p.m. on Sunday.

The father chased after Delaney, but he fled when he realized someone was chasing him, according to the incident report.

In August, he was arrested, accused of exposing and fondling himself on a lacrosse field in front of 30 girls between the ages of 9 and 12. He was released from custody on those charges and is due in court on Thursday.

During the incident on Sunday, he was on a bike when he exposed himself, according to police.

When police took him into custody, they found what appeared to be marijuana and drug paraphernalia on him, police said.

Delaney was charged with two counts of risk of injury to a minor, two counts of public indecency, second-degree breach of peace, possession of marijuana within 1,500 of a school, possession of less than half an ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Delaney is being held on a $50,000 surety bond and is due in court today.
