Training camp opens up in a little more than a month, and Tom Brady is getting a jump start on rekindling the connection with one of his favorite targets.
The New England Patriots quarterback took to Instagram on Sunday morning, posting a 1-minute video featuring clips of him and Julian Edelman running routes together last week.
The video opens with Brady narrating a massage from trainer Alex Guerrero before getting to work with Edelman outside.
Of course, the two had numerous chances earlier this off-season to work together, only for Brady to stay away from the Patriots during organized team activities (OTAs) save for the mandatory mini-camp between June 5 and 7.
Edelman, who missed the entire 2017 regular season with a torn ACL, could miss an additional four games to begin the 2018 season pending the appeal of his suspension for testing positive for a banned substance.
Edelman has caught the third-most passes from Brady all-time with 486, trailing only Wes Welker (632) and Rob Gronkowski (537).
Patriots players are scheduled to report to training camp on Thursday, July 26.
