Dennis Gross and Karleigh Gross were arrested in Hooksett on separate charges

A traffic stop in New Hampshire Tuesday night led to the arrest of a father and daughter in Hookset.

Police said an officer spotted a suspicious vehicle on Sunrise Boulevard just before 11 p.m. and pulled over the driver, identified as 47-year-old Dennis Gross.

While speaking with Gross, a woman was located in the bed of his pickup truck under a tarp. She was identified as Gross' daughter, 19-year-old Karleigh Gross.

Police said the officer, who asked for consent to search the truck, then located a baggy containing heroin in Karleigh Gross' purse. He also discovered Dennis Gross had an electronic bench warrant.

Both father and daughter were taken into custody.

Dennis Gross was charged with EBW and obstructing government administration. Karleigh Gross was charged with possession of drugs. Both were released on personal recognizance bail.

Dennis Gross is due in Hooksett District Court on Oct. 18. Karleigh Gross is due in Merrimack County Superior Court on Sept. 20. It's unclear if they have attorneys.
