A Lubbock, Texas, man was on his way home to celebrate Thanksgiving when he said a turkey flew through his windshield Thursday morning.
Kameron Schrader said he was driving near Abilene, Texas, when the turkey crashed into the windshield of his wrecker.
"What are the odds of hitting a big old turkey on Thanksgiving?" he said.

Schrader was still able to make it home to Lubbock in time to celebrate Thanksgiving with his family. He said he still can't believe it actually happened.
"Everybody has asked if I was okay," he said. "And then after that, just that it was hysterical."
The turkey did not survive the crash and Schrader said he gave it to a family who stopped to help him.
