Ahead of his high-wire act between Chicago skyscrapers Sunday night, Nik Wallenda already had plans for what he wants to attempt next.
Wallenda said he wants to recreate a 1,200-foot-long high-wire walk made famous by his great-grandfather, Karl Wallenda. The Wallenda family patriarch's stunt at Tallulah Falls Gorge in Georgia included two headstands on the high wire.
The 35-year-old daredevil walked a high wire across the Chicago River between skyscrapers Sunday evening. The Discovery Channel televised the event on a 10-second delay.
Daredevil Nik Wallenda earned himself two new Guinness World Records Sunday with a pair of acts high above Chicago. Christian Farr was among the spectators.
