A 77-year-old Cambridge woman who was rushed to the hospital Saturday evening has died, according to the Wellfleet police.
Police were called Saturday at 5:12 p.m. about a possible body floating in Long Pond. She had been spotted by two local swimmers, police said.
When officers and firefighters arrived, they found the woman unresponsive. Personnel on the scene performed CPR and she was brought to the Cape Cod Hospital.
The woman has not yet been identified.
