A woman was killed Tuesday night in a crash on Cape Cod.
Police say a 38-year-old woman from Falmouth, Massachusetts, crashed a Ford truck into a large tree around 8:30 p.m. in Dennis. She was trapped in the vehicle.
Fire crews had to work to free the woman from the truck. She was taken to Cape Cod Hospital, where she died from her injuries.
No one else was in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
The woman's name has not been released.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
