Actress Zooey Deschanel has a new gig in Boston. But not for a movie.
The "Celebrity Dating Game" co-host, which many remember for her longtime starring role in the TV series "New Girl," is joining Boston-based app-maker Merryfield, according to the company. Deschanel will assume the roles of co-founder and chief creative officer.
