Boating Crash Leaves Multiple People Injured

A boating crash occurred late Saturday evening following a fireworks show at Crystal Lake Park in New Hampshire.

Nancy Renall, a 62-year-old woman from Gilmanton, was driving a 17-foot key West power boat when it was struck from behind by a 19-foot Crestliner.

The Crestliner was operated by Richard Downing, a 62-year-old Manchester, Connecticut, man.

Renall and Downing were carrying four passengers each.

Two of Downing's passengers went overboard, and passengers aboard the Key West were struck by the hull of the Crestliner.

Passengers were transported to area hospitals for facial trauma and possible internal injuries.

Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.
