A New Hampshire man has pleaded guilty in federal court to being a felon in possession of a firearm.
The U.S. Attorney's office says 45-year-old Richard Lariviere of Nashua pleaded guilty Monday.
Police got a search warrant in 2014 for Lariviere's car and found a semi-automatic handgun in the front passenger seat. They also found ammunition in a hotel room Lariviere was staying at.
Court records show Lariviere was convicted in 2009 of felonious assault on a peace officer in the state of Ohio.
He awaits sentencing on the gun charge on Aug. 17.
