A man crashed into an MBTA station after a routine traffic stop turned into a high-speed chase.

A man crashed into an MBTA Station in Holbrook Saturday morning after a routine traffic stop turned into a high speed chase.

Just before noon on Saturday morning, officer Samuel Sterling tried to stop William Ayers after noticing Ayers was driving on a suspended license.

Police say Ayers led officers on a chase to Randolph, then back to Holbrook. While fleeing police, Ayers allegedly struck officer Sterling's cruiser three times.

At one point, police say he tried to drive down railroad tracks at the Holbrook-Randolph MBTA station, where he crashed his vehicle and attempted to flea on foot.

When police finally apprehended Ayers he was found with drugs in his car.
