One person has died in an early morning shooting in Chelsea, Massachusetts, police confirm.
According to the Chelsea Police Department, the call came in at 3:36 a.m. on Sunday for the shooting at 60 Chester Avenue. They say two male victims were rushed to Massachusetts General Hospital with gunshot wounds. One 29-year-old victim died as result of his injuries. The second victim, a 34-year-old man, was admitted for treatment. The severity of his injuries is not currently known.
Chelsea Police, Massachusetts State Police, and the Suffolk County District Attorney's office are investigating. They ask anyone with information about the shooting to call Chelsea Police detectives at 617-466-4843.
