One person was killed and five others were injured early Sunday morning in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Westport, Massachusetts.
State Police said troopers responded to the crash at 3:13 a.m. on Interstate 195 eastbound, just east of exit 10, where they found a Honda Civic in the breakdown lane on its roof.
An initial investigation revealed that the vehicle somehow left the roadway and struck a jersey barrier, then rolled over while crossing the travel lanes.
The driver, identified as Cassandra Camacho, 25, of New Bedford, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said five passengers, three men and two women, all of New Bedford, were transported to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation.
