A Limington woman has been killed and three other people have been injured in an early morning crash in southern Maine.
Authorities say 23-year-old Brandy Norton was killed when the pickup truck she was riding in struck a guard rail and culvert and then crashed into some trees, rolled over and caught on fire around 3:45 a.m. Saturday.
The driver and a passenger were trapped in the truck; two other passengers appeared to have been ejected.
A nearby homeowner who heard the crash was able to put out the fire before firefighters arrived.
The York County Sheriff's office says the 20-year-old driver was hospitalized in critical condition and two other passengers were in stable condition.
Authorities say the vehicle appears to have been traveling too fast for the foggy conditions.
