Authorities in Rhode Island are investigating a deadly car crash that claimed one life Monday night in East Providence.
State police said they responded to a crash at about 9 p.m. on I-195 eastbound involving two cars, WJAR reported. At least one person died in the incident, which happened between exits 6 and 7.
The name of the fatal victim has not been revealed. It is unclear if the other driver suffered injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
