A 13-year-old girl was seriously injured when she was hit by a car Thursday evening on Cape Cod.
Falmouth Police responded just before 6:30 p.m. after the child was struck in the area of 996 East Falmouth Highway in Falmouth, Massachusetts.
The driver remained on the scene.
The girl sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a hospital.
The crash is under investigation.
