16 Displaced in Sober Housing Unit Fire in Portland, Maine

The second and third floors of the building sustained the most damage

Sixteen people were displaced from a sober housing unit in Portland, Maine, after a fire tore through the building Tuesday evening.

The fire at the building on Sherman Street broke out around 5:15 p.m., according to necn affiliate WCSH.

The second and third floors of the Oxford House building sustained the most damage.

Everyone made it out of the building safely.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
