17-Year-Old Crashes Stolen Car in Multi-State Pursuit: NH Police

A 17-year-old was arrested early Monday after they allegedly led police on a pursuit in a stolen vehicle that ended in a crash in Stratham, New Hampshire.

At about 12:45 a.m., Massachusetts State Police notified local agencies of a pursuit on the I-95 northbound and Route 101 westbound. The chase came to an end after the driver lost control of the car and crashed in the area of Portsmouth Avenue and 101, according to New Hampshire State Police.

Although the vehicle rolled over "several" times, the driver fled the scene on foot. Authorities later captured the teenager. The driver was taken to Exeter Hospital for minor injuries and later arrested.

It is unclear where in Massachusetts the chase was first reported from. Details on what led up to the pursuit were not immediately available.

The investigation is ongoing by New Hampshire state police.
