Police arrested a 17-year-old juvenile for driving almost double the speed limit on a Vermont highway.
Williston police stopped the driver on Interstate 89 in South Burlington, Vermont around 1:12 a.m. on Thursday for driving 105 MPH in a 55 MPH zone.
The driver was arrested and processed for the criminal offense of gross negligent operation.
The driver was issued citation to appear in Chittenden Juvenile Court, as well as a $507 ticket.
