Twenty people have been displaced following a 3-alarm fire that resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of damage Thursday morning in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood.
The fire at 6 Lindwood Square, a multi-unit residential building, was first reported just before 5:30 a.m, according to the Boston Fire Department.
Firefighters were pulled out from the structure after crews deemed it dangerous, according to Fire Commissioner Joseph Finn.
He did not immediately elaborate on the dangerous conditions inside the home.
No injuries were reported and fire officials do not believe anyone is missing.
The Red Cross has been notified, and the fire department's victim assistance unit is on the scene.
Byron Winder saw the fire from his house across the street and rushed over to help.

"I asked my wife to call 911, and we just went out and tried the best we could to get them out," he said.
He said everyone in this neighborhood knows each other.
"We got a lot of love and respect for one another, so we wanted to make sure everyone was safe," Winder said.
The blaze caused approximately $800,000 in damage, according to officials.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
