Police say two Massachusetts men were arrested after a traffic stop led to the discovery of $20,000 worth of heroin.

The Springfield Republican reports
police pulled the men over around 3 a.m. Sunday in Northampton for equipment violations.

Police say they searched the men and found 59 grams of heroin, 8.5 ounces of marijuana and two handguns that were reported stolen. The heroin has a street value of $20,000.

Twenty-five-year-old Paulo Rodrigues-Correia, of Hadley, was charged with heroin trafficking, multiple firearm charges and marijuana possession with intent to distribute.

Twenty-four-year-old Eric Kelly-Combs, of Haydenville, faces the same charges. He's also charged with being in possession of a firearm with three prior violent or drug-related crimes.

It's unclear whether they're represented by attorneys.
