2 Arrested in Bridgewater Shooting

Two men have been arrested and charged in a shooting that left a Massachusetts man seriously injured Saturday.

Police announced Tuesday that 34-year-old Kevin O'Brien of Bridgewater and 26-year-old Roberto Perez of Taunton had been charged with armed assault to murder with a firearm.

Authorities responded Saturday evening to 246 Pleasant St. in Bridgewater, where a 29-year-old man had been shot once in the forearm and another time in the upper thigh area.

The victim's injuries are not considered to be life-threatening. His identity has not been released.

Authorities do not believe the shooting was random. O'Brien and Perez allegedly went to the house and met the victim outside.

It was not immediately clear whether the suspects had attorneys.
