2 Arrested in Massachusetts Turnpike Arsons

Two men are in police custody after allegedly setting fires along the Massachusetts Turnpike Monday morning.

Thirty-six-year-old Thomas Law of New York and 53-year-old Albert Lenzi of Troy, New York, were allegedly burning paint cans and debris on the westbound side of I-90 in Sturbridge and Warren.

According to police, Lenzi was arrested at the Ludlow Service Plaza after being found inside a Chevrolet 2500 with commercial plates that were connected to the fires. However, state police knew a second suspect had left before troopers had arrived.

Law was arrested by police outside of a general store in Ludlow, where he allegedly called a cab company and asked how much it would cost to have a cab drive him to Albany.

State police say charges are still being determined and the investigation is ongoing.
