State police are asking drivers to be more cautious on the road

Authorities are asking drivers to be aware after responding to multiple crashes on both sides of Interstate 89 in Vermont on Tuesday morning.

A rollover crash in the Burlington area between exits 13 and 14 northbound that happened just after 7 a.m. is backing up traffic, Vermont State Police said.

Troopers also responded to a second crash involving multiple vehicles on the southbound side of the Winooski Bridge around 8 a.m., which backed up traffic for nearly two miles, according to affiliate WPTZ.
