2 Credit Unions Offer $10K Reward After Robberies

University Credit Union was robbed on May 14, and TruChoice Federal Credit Union was robbed on May 26

Two Portland, Maine, credit unions have combined to offer a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the man suspected of robbing several area banks.

The Portland Press Herald reports TruChoice Federal Credit Union and cPort Credit Union are offering the reward.

University Credit Union was robbed on May 14, and TruChoice Federal Credit Union was robbed on May 26.

Police say the same man appears to have robbed a cPort Credit Union and Bank of America in Portland on Friday.

Police say a black man demanded cash from the banks wielding a handgun before fleeing each with undisclosed amount of cash.

No shots were fired and no one was injured.
