2 Dead, 1 Seriously Injured in Bedford Crash

Two were ejected from the vehicle and sustained life-threatening injuries

Two people died and one was seriously injured in a motor vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Bedford, New Hampshire, the police department said. 

Crews responded to a crash in the area of 366 South River Road at 2:45 p.m. According to a preliminary investigation, a sedan of unknown model hit a utility police while driving fast on South River Road.

Three people were inside the vehicle. Two of them were ejected and sustained life-threatening injuries. 

The road will remain closed until late Friday evening. 

Police ask anyone who may have seen the crash to call Robert Lavoie or Sergeant Devon Kimball of the Bedford Police Department Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team at (603) 472-5113.

An investigation is underway.
