2 Hospitalized After Domestic Dispute

On Sunday morning, Falmouth Police responded to the Great Bay Motel for the report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, they found that two men had been injured in an altercation.

Investigation revealed that a man entered a motel room without invitation and held the occupants against their will. Police say he eventually left, but returned a short time later with a knife. The male occupant of the room confronted him with a piece of wood strapping and both men suffered significant injuries.

Both men were transported to Falmouth Hospital, and the assailant was subsequently transported by medical helicopter to a Boston area hospital.

The incident remains under investigation.
