2 Indicted in Mass. Pike Crash That Killed 1, Injured 3 Others

Two people have been indicted by a grand jury in an SUV crash on the Massachusetts Turnpike that killed one woman and injured three others in 2016, according to the Worcester County district attorney.

Andrew Ledoux, 21, of Worcester, and Gina Correiri, 20, of Shrewsbury, are facing charges in connection with the Oct. 29, 2016 crash in Westborough that killed 26-year-old Spencer resident Ashley Sheehan, according to DA Joseph Early Jr.

The crash happened after Correiri, who was indicted on a manslaughter charge, allegedly pulled on the SUV‘s steering wheel, causing it to leave the road and crash into a rock ledge.

The crash killed Correiri and seriously three other passengers in the SUV. No other vehicles were involved.

Ledoux, who was the driver during the crash, is facing charges of motor vehicle homicide, three counts of operating under the influence causing serious bodily injury and operating to endanger.

The two will be arraigned in Worcester Superior Court on an unspecified date. It’s not clear if they have attorneys.
