2 Injured in Overnight Shooting

Victims received treatment at a local hospital for non life-threatening injuries

Two people were shot early Saturday morning near a ballroom and banquet facility on Bridge Street in Dedham, Massachusetts, according to police.

Reports of gunshots fired near Moseley's on the Charles on Bridge Street came in around 1:30 a.m.

Two people were found suffering from gunshot wounds on Breede Terrace.

The victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Police interviewed several people who were at the facility, but there aren't any suspects at this time.

People, such as resident Rob Polin, are surprised by the shooting. "Thousands of people have come here," he said. "I've never seen an incident of violence or anything like that."

Those who work for the catering company inside are also shocked to hear what happened. "You're kidding me, holy crap is that concerning," said caterer Ben Lazzarra.

It's still unkown exactly what happened in the hall before the shooting, but police say the gunfire happened in the parking lot.

An arrest has not been made at this time. The case remains under investigation.
