Police say a man stabbed his younger brother Thursday at their apartment complex in Woburn, Massachusetts.
Twenty-nine-year-old Kosta Vovolis is charged with the attempted murder of his brother, 26-year-old John Vovolis. Police say the victim was stabbed in the upper torso and neck.
John Vovolis was taken to Lahey Clinic with life-threatening injuries.
The brothers live in the Washington Crossing apartmens on Cedar Street with their mother, neighbors told necn.
It was initially reported that two people were injured, but authorities now say only John Vovolis was hurt in the incident.
According to police, the brothers began arguing in the parking lot before the suspect chased the victim inside with a knife and stabbed him.
Kosta Vovolis was arrested at his apartment.
