A 2-month-old baby who was struck by a car with along four others in Revere, Massachusetts last weekend has died, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney.

Two-month-old Natasha Nicole Mejia-Rivera succumbed to her injuries after she and four others were injured in the pedestrian crash. The incident killed the infant's 5-year-old sister, Adrianna, at the scene on Sunday.

The children were among the five pedestrians who were hit by an SUV around 5 p.m. on Sunday as they were walking on the grass median strip on Route 145.

Including Natasha, the surviving victims -- a 2-year-old child and a 27-year-old woman who sustained non-life-threatening injuries and another woman who suffered minor injuries -- were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital.

The infant was on life support in the hospital's pediatric intensive care unit. Her father, Edgar Mejia, spoke to NBC10 Boston earlier this week.

"I have faith in the legal system that the death of my daughter will not be in vain," Mejia said of Adrianna's death.

The SUV's driver, 42-year-old Autumn Harris of Beacon Hill, entered not-guilty pleas to motor vehicle homicide and negligent operation of a motor vehicle charges at her arraignment on Monday. Harris was held on $10,000 bail and ordered to remain drug and alcohol-free if she posts the amount.

She is scheduled to return to court on Jan. 10.

Prosecutors say Harris told police she had one beer the afternoon of the fatal crash and had taken the sleep aid melatonin and a muscle relaxant. She also allegedly told police she vaped CBD oil in the SUV, had only slept two hours before working all day and that she may have fallen asleep while behind the wheel.

Harris is being represented by attorney Jeff Miller.
