2 Vt. Women to Appear in Court After Car Accident Involving Minors

Two Vermont women are scheduled to appear in court after getting into an accident with minors in both of their cars.

Vermont State Police say that just after 7:30 p.m. Saturday, they observed a 2-vehicle crash at the 4-corners in Fairfield.

Police discovered that one of the drivers, Kimberly Isham, 49, from Fairfax, was criminally suspended.  She was issued a citation.

The other driver, Amy Stone, 46, of St. Albans, was under the influence of alcohol and provided a breath sample of .218%.  She was placed under arrest and issued a citation for DUI, cruelty to a child and negligent operation.

Both women had minors in their cars.

Isham is scheduled to appear in Franklin County District Court on August 1, 2016.

Stone is scheduled to appear on July 25, 2016.
