Police are investigating the death of a 2-year-old boy in Concord, New Hampshire on Friday morning.
Concord police and fire said they responded to 12 Rex Drive around 9:35 a.m. for a report of a 2-year-old male who was not conscious.
The child's parents were home at the time, but it was someone coming to check on the family who called 911, according to Concord Police Lt. Sean Ford.
The boy was transported to Concord Hospital by the Concord fire department, where he was pronounced dead.
“It’s a tragic time for the parents, our hearts go out to them, to lose a child has got to be the worst thing that ever happens especially at a time like this,” said Lt. Ford.
“It’s horrible I mean I just keep thinking about my kids, it’s horrible, I try not to cry,” said neighbor Brandy Bisson.
Neighbors say police were often called to the home.

“The cops were there a lot. In the year that we’ve been here, probably about 5-6 times that we’ve seen,” said Tom Bisson
Concord police said they are conducting interviews, examining the scene and consulting with medical professionals to determine what might have caused the child’s death. An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday.
