2-Year-Old Left Unattended as 3 Overdose on Heroin

Police in Rochester, New Hampshire say a two-year-old girl was left unattended while three adults suffered apparent overdoses.

On Tuesday, Rochester Police responded to 10 Shelby Lane for a report of two people not breathing due to apparent heroin overdoses. Upon arrival, two out of the three occupants were revived. A third was transported to a local hospital.

As a result of the incident, police arrested Nathanial Donato, 20, who was out on bail from a Sept. 29 incident, and charged him with felony possession of a controlled drug, endangering the welfare of a child, and contempt. He is set to be arraignment Monday.

A two-year-old girl was present in the home while the overdoses occurred. Police say she is now in the custody of her mother.

More charges are expected later in the week.
