New Hampshire authorities plan to charge a 23-year-old man with killing his father in Chesterfield.
Sixty-four-year-old John Giandalone was found dead at his home July 13, and the attorney general's office say he died of a deep neck wound.
His son, Peter Giandalone, was detained in South Carolina on Sunday. He is in connection on an arrest warrant for theft.
On Tuesday, authorities also issued an arrest warrant for second-degree murder.
According to New Hampshire attorney general's office, Giandalone is expected to be arraigned on both charges Wednesday afternoon.
