Woman Killed by Motorist in Springfield, Mass. Identified

(NECN) - Springfield, Mass. police have identified the young woman killed by a hit and run driver Friday night.

Police say that 19-year-old Ashley Ballester was struck and killed by a motorist.

Ballester was pregnant at the time of the crash; her unborn baby did not survive.

She was pushing her two-year-old daughter in a stroller on Sumner Avenue when they were struck.

The little girl is listed in critical condition.

Police have located the car involved in the acciden, but are still looking for the driver.
