Aerosmith Performing Free Street Concert in Boston

(NECN) - Aerosmith is returning to its hometown of Boston on Monday, for a free street concert. But it is expected to cause some headaches for commuters.

The band is scheduled to play at Noon, outside of the Allston apartment building on Commonwealth Avenue where it got its start.

Aerosmith is promoting its newest album and encouraging people to vote.

Boston officials will close a section of Commonwealth Avenue between Harvard Avenue and Allston Street from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday.

Green line service on the MBTA will also be interrupted - from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Washington Street and Packard's Corner.
