Bostonians Line Up for Free Aerosmith Concert

(NECN: Julie Loncich, Boston) - Aerosmith is returning to Boston on Monday to play a free concert in front of their first apartment at 1325 Commonwealth Ave.

The band is promoting their new album, Music from Another Dimension!, and encouraging fans to vote.

Some fans lined up early, looking to beat the chaos and the crowds.

And while the concert is free, the event is not free of headaches, as commuters will face limited T service and closed streets.

Boston officials will close a section of Commonwealth Avenue between Harvard Avenue and Allston Street from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday.

Green line service on the MBTA will also be interrupted from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Washington Street and Packard's Corner.

NECN reporter Julie Loncich has more on the story.
