(NECN) - A settlement has reportedly been reached in a lawsuit against Eli Lilly over a drug four sisters claimed gave them breast cancer.
A lawyer for the sisters say they reached the settlement on Wednesday in Boston.
The sisters claim the drug their mother took to prevent miscarriages in the 1950s caused them all to get breast cancer later in life.
A lawyer for Eli Lilly says there is no evidence the drug causes breast cancer or that the sisters' mother took the drug.
There is no word on how much the settlement is worth.
