JFK Memorabilia to Be Auctioned Off This Weekend in Mass.

(NECN: Greg Wayland) - This weekend, hundreds of President John F. Kennedy memorabilia will be auctioned off in Massachusetts.

John McInnis Auctioneers in Amesbury, Mass. will hold an auction on Sunday for hundreds of JFK items, such as his bomber jacket and a pen the former president used to affirm the Cuban missile blockade.

The treasure trove comes from the family of the late Dave Powers, a Kennedy confidant and trusted insider during his days as a Congressman.

Powers also tracked JFK's fateful visit to Dallas in November 1963, and there's a never-before-seen photo of the motorcade to prove it.

The auction will be held on Sunday at 11 a.m. at 76 Main St. in Amesbury; however, if you can't make it there personally, you can sign up for the auction online.

Greg Wayland has more on the story in the attached video.
