Boston Nuns Excited About Pope Francis

(NECN: Scot Yount, Boston) - At the Daughters of St. Paul in Boston's Jamaica Plan neighborhood, the sisters of the convent were excited to watch history unfold on their TV screen when the world was introduced to Pope Francis.

On this day, these sisters tell NECN they rejoice.

"I just love such a beautiful sense of being united with Catholics and people of good will all over the world waiting for this beautiful gift that God is going to give us," one nun said.

"Oh I'm very excited, especially that he's from South America. You know, that to me is the top of the list of innovations in this one, you know, that he's from South America. That's fabulous because that's the majority of the Church now, is of Hispanic population," another nun said.

Scot Yount has more on the story in the attached video.
