Lakeville, Mass. Crash Suspect Held on Bail

(NECN) - A Middleboro, Mass. woman is being held on a hundred thousand dollars cash bail - following a deadly weekend crash.

Prosecutors say 23-year-old Kathleen Allen's blood-alcohol limit was nearly twice the legal limit and was also on heroin when she crashed into another car in Lakeville early Saturday morning.

That crash killed 18-year-old Monica Demello - a student at Gordon College - a Christian school on the north shore.              

She was home from school for the weekend to spend Easter with her family.
